Velvet Arts degrees are earned for:
Amassing a large collection of paintings all of which are on black velvet, with subjects including but not limited to: Elvis, sleeping Mexicans, ethnically-diverse large-breasted women, and more Elvis; purchasing paintings at gas stations; and insisting on giving away parts of your collection as gifts to people who feel obligated to hang them whenever you visit.
